PHS's Lady Greenbacks Heather Goetz, Hannah Melichar, and Monica Hostetler are Mid-State Activities Association All-Stars. The trio was named to the 2007 MSAA All-League volleyball team.
Goertz and Melichar were selected to the first team. Goertz led the Lady Greenbacks in kills with 299. The senior averaged 3.60 kills per game. She was at 92 percent serving, recorded 14 aces, and posted 1.30 blocks per game.
Melichar, a sophomore, produced 273 kills, averaging 3.29 per game. She also collected 1.05 blocks per game, and served 23 aces.
Goertz's classmate, Hostetler, was Pratt's quarterback and a MSAA honorable-mention selection. She accumulated 447 assists, an average of 5.39 per game. Nineteen aces were part of her 95.5 percent serving.
Pratt fell in the 2007 Colby Regional 2-0 (25-16, 25-22) to Smoky Valley. They finished the season 15-20 under first-year head coach Randy VandenHoek.
