PHS Relay Wins Title at Invitational;

Lady Greenbacks Were Eighth in the Team Competition

PHS's Marina Dobbs, Chere Nash, Stephanie Voss, and Brooke McDermeit walked off with the 4x400M relay title at the 2008 St. John Invitational Friday.

The quartet combined to win the relay in 4:34.84.

Earlier, Nash finished fourth in the 300M hurdles (54.33) and Voss sixth (56.67).

McDermeit had two other top-4 finishes on the day.

She placed fourth in the 800M (2:49.27) and joined Elena Botello, Andrea Clarkson, and Molly Leed on the Lady Greenbacks' third-place 4x800M relay team (11:57.61).

Leed also ran to sixth in the 3200M (14:59.52).

Catherine Schotte, Jillian Aramowicz, Paige McDermeit, and Elena Botello earned the fourth-best 4x100M time (55.52).

Paige McDermeit's 30.17 200M time captured fourth.

Jillian Aramowicz long jumped 14.5-75 and landed fifth.

The Lady Greenbacks were eighth in the team competition, compiling 34 points. Medicine Lodge won the invitational (99.5).
