Forensics at South Barber

On Homecoming weekend, Sat. Feb. 4th, Pratt High School forensics celebrated by bringing home a top trophy from the South Barber Invitational Tournament. Coming in #2, the Greenbacks competed against 11 other schools, and tiny - but mighty - Pretty Prairie captured first place as a team.

Still, Pratt beat out Kiowa County HS who brought 31 events to PHS' 24 events. And in a wonderful surprise, many novices made it into finals as well as varsity.

For those who don't know forensics well, invitationals see everyone from 1A to 6A competing together. At this tournament, Pratt edged out Great Bend, Hoisington, Clearwater, Wellington, Winfield, plus several other smaller schools.
