PHS Science Olympians went to regional competition Thursday Feb 7th, at Garden City Community College and finished 3rd as a team. Individual highlights below.

Astronomy 3rd - Matt Hart & Andrea Clarkson Cell Biology 2nd - Matt Hart & Ellie Eastes Chemistry Lab 1st - Bronson Blasi & Jakob Whitson Circuit Lab 3rd - Savan Patel Disease Detective 1st - Greg Jones & Andrea Clarkson Ecology 2nd - Jakob Whitson & Ellie Eastes Experimental Design 3rd - Matt Hart, Ryan Will & Dalton Hodgkinson Food Science 1st - Jill Aramowicz & Jakob Whitson Forensics 1st - Jill Aramowicz & Emma Shrack Health Science 3rd - Emma Shrack & Jill Aramowicz Herpetology 2nd - Emma Shrack & Jakob Whitson Physics Lab 3rd - Bronson Blasi & Jill Aramowicz Rocks and Minerals 1st - Jill Aramowicz & Greg Jones Wright Stuff 2nd - Greg Jones, Andrea Clarkson & Ryan Will

Also participating was Paul Cline.

We took a short staffed team (only 12 for a 15 spot team) and missed 2nd place by 3 points (one more 2nd place finish = 4 points.) Which means these participants did a great job. Please congratulate them when you see them. Go PHS Science Olympiad!
