Greenback Families,
Join me in giving a hearty congratulations to Steve Blankenship who will be our next USD 382 Superintendent. I look forward to passing the baton to Mr. Blankenship in July and I am confident we will have a smooth transition and he will continue leading the great work done by our Greenback Team.
Steve has served as the PHS principal since the 2007-08 school year. He is PHS graduate who returned home after serving as a principal in California for six year and at Basehor-Linwood (Kansas City area) for four years before taking the helm at PHS in 2007. PHS has reached a top-notch level under his leadership—it currently ranks as the 13th best high school (US News and World Report) in Kansas. That’s a testament to his leadership and our entire Greenback Team.
We have a great community who I am sure will give positive support to Mr. Blankenship as he leads the challenging work of educating our youth and preparing them to take obstacles head on and pursue their dreams.
