Welcome to the Pratt Academic Center! The historic "Old High School Building" has found vibrant new life as the Pratt Academic Center (PAC)—the dedicated home of our 4th and 5th graders. Here, students take the next step of independence in their learning journey by switching classrooms and having a different teacher for each core subject. By mastering these new responsibilities, our students build the foundational skills necessary for lifelong academic success.

Designed for Intermediate Learners: Purposefully created for upper elementary students, the PAC bridges the transition between elementary and middle school by providing age-appropriate learning experiences while building confidence, independence, and responsibility.

Care for the Whole Child: We believe every student deserves support beyond academics, we are dedicated to nurturing the mind, body, and heart of every student. Through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), we provide integrated academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions that help every child reach their full potential.

Preparing Students for the Future: We intentionally develop executive functioning skills—including organization, time management, goal setting, and independence—to equip students for success in middle school and beyond.

Engaging Experiences & School Spirit: Learning comes alive through beloved traditions and enriching opportunities such as Ribbit Rally, TOP Frog, Student Council (STUCO), Field Day, local and long-distance field trips, and a variety of activities that build leadership, teamwork, and lasting memories.

A Hub for Students and Community: The Frog Dome, our beautifully renovated historic gymnasium, provides an outstanding space for student athletics, school celebrations, and community events, reflecting the PAC's commitment to school pride and community connection.
Beyond the Bell After-School Program: Join our Beyond the Bell (BTB) program, offering a safe and enriching environment for students in grades K–5! BTB provides a daily snack, dedicated homework support, crafts, and fun enrichment activities. 4th and 5th graders who are part of BTB will be bused directly from PAC to Southwest Elementary School each afternoon to participate.
