Bond Project Vote

Greenback Families:
First, I wish everyone a joyous Easter. School is closed for Friday and Monday. May all of our families enjoy quality time together and have safe travels.
Secondly, please access our usd382.com website for information on the bond project referendum. The vote is May 9th. A facilities committee was formed in March of 2021 and included community members along with district representatives. It’s been a slow march with engineering studies, surveys, community input sessions (from our long-term strategic planning study), and planning discussions.
On the district website (under the “Bond Project Vote” tab) we have concept renderings of the projects and preliminary architectural drawings. If the vote does pass, the architect and district would continue to hold input sessions with key stakeholders to fine tune those architectural plans. The scope would stay within, of course, the amount proposed under the bond referendum. The tab also has a “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) section, and we will continue to update that section. There is an information section as well, and it includes a presentation with information slides and pictures.
Finally, we will also post a link to the electronic mailer, which includes detailed information on the various projects under this bond umbrella. That should be available by April 10 th . The information mailer will be sent to all voters in the district next week. We will hold community sessions and tours of the ACE (“the old high school”) on April 16 and April 23rd, both at 2:00 pm. The sessions will start in the Frog Dome.
