Lily Pad Preschool
Pratt Lily Pad Preschool provides early childhood education for three to five-year-old children including cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, cultural, and aesthetic development. The goal of our program is to help preschool children acquire the knowledge and skills needed to transition successfully to kindergarten. This is a very exciting first step for your child's education. Our mission is to have a positive, exciting beginning for young children and their school careers.
The preschool curriculum is designed to give maximum educational, social, and physical benefits to each individual child. The components include early literacy, early math, handwriting, social skills, gross motor, fine motor, technology, and self-help skills. We recently added an all-day option for our 4 and 5 year old students. During our full day option, students receive their academic components in the morning with an emphasis on social-emotional skills in the afternoon.
The Lily Pad Preschool half-day program is in session for 3 hours a day Monday through Friday. The morning class will meet from 8:00 to 11:00 and the afternoon class will meet from 12:15 to 3:15. All day classes run from 8:00-3:15 with the option of Beyond the Bell (after-school program) that runs until 5:15. Breakfast and lunch are also available.
